STEP 1:
Prior to your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a small amount of paperwork, which should not take very long. This paperwork supplies us with important information about you and your specific health needs.
STEP 2:
When you visit one of our offices, you'll start with a consultation with one of our physicians. During this time, we'll review your health history, discuss any concerns, and explore possible treatment options. Once the physician evaluates your condition and determines that our services can help, they will provide personalized treatment recommendations.
STEP 3:
In order to figure out what your underlying health problems are, the physician will ask you several questions related to your ailments. Afterward, a multitude of specialized tests will be administered to get to the bottom of which tissues are affected and how badly they are damaged.
STEP 4:
Sometimes, understanding your unique condition requires taking x-rays or reviewing MRI scans. These tools help us rule out serious health issues and guide us in creating the most effective treatment plan tailored to your needs.
STEP 5:
After you have completed your consultation, paperwork, and necessary tests/studies, it is often the case that you will be able to have your first chiropractic treatment during this initial visit. This can include spinal manipulations, physical therapies, and soft tissue therapies.
STEP 6:
Before leaving the appointment, you will be given guidance on specific activities or exercises to be performed at home. This can possibly include the application of ice or heat, avoidance of certain body positions or activities, as well as exercises or stretches.
STEP 7:
Upon completion of all of the above, you will be offered a convenient appointment time for your next visit. In general, patients are seen within a few days and we will provide you with a complete rundown of our findings. Treatment possibilities for your condition(s) will also be touched on during this time.
